A few words about why I split the position size into multiple entries and what influences my decisions.
I wasn't sure if the decline had stopped, but this was a good opportunity to play it as a sweep of the bottom of the range. I wanted to be in the position in case we got a V-shaped reversal (but since I've been taking losses in recent days, I didn't want to risk a large size). The decision was simple: I waited for signs that the decline had at least paused, using confirmations, and opened the first part of the position.
Now I’m looking for opportunities to increase the position a bit more. Where are these opportunities? I’ve written before, and I’ll repeat it: after a drop or rise, the market moves into consolidation. So, seeing consolidation at the bottom of the range after a drop was the first option (red trajectory). Another opportunity is the formation of a rising structure (higher lows, higher highs) on the lower timeframe (green trajectory).
